Studio Policies & Terms

Appointments, Cancellations & Rescheduling

I understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations or changes made under 24 hours will be charged 50% of the service fee.

  • No‑shows will be charged 100% of the service fee.

  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled, and the late‑cancellation fee may apply.

This policy helps ensure fairness and availability for all clients.

Deposit Policy

I do not require deposits for appointments. All I ask is that you respect the 24‑hour cancellation window so I can offer your spot to someone else if needed.

Hygiene & Safety

Your comfort and safety are my top priorities. I follow strict hygiene protocols, including:

  • Single‑use, sterile disposable probes

  • Medical‑grade disinfection of all surfaces and equipment

  • Fresh gloves for every client

  • Compliance with Alberta Health Services guidelines

  • Refusal of service if the skin is compromised (sunburn, infection, open wounds, etc.)

If you’re feeling unwell, please reschedule — I’m always happy to find another time for you.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure safe and effective treatment, clients agree to:

  • Arrive with clean, product‑free skin (no makeup, lotions, oils).

  • Avoid caffeine for 2–3 hours before the appointment.

  • Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, or chemical peels for 48 hours before and after treatment.

  • Disclose any relevant medical conditions, medications, or recent cosmetic procedures.

  • Follow all aftercare instructions provided.

Your preparation helps your skin respond beautifully and safely.

Aftercare Expectations

A little redness or swelling after electrolysis is completely normal. To support healing:

  • Apply aloe vera or witch hazel as needed.

  • Avoid touching, picking, or scratching the treated area.

  • Avoid makeup, exfoliation, saunas, hot tubs, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours.

  • Avoid sun exposure and use SPF once the skin has calmed.

  • Contact me if you experience anything unusual — I’m here to help.

Proper aftercare is essential for the best results.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. I collect personal information (name, contact details, and relevant health information) only to provide safe and effective electrolysis services.

  • Your information is stored securely and accessed only by me.

  • I do not share or sell your information.

  • Online bookings are processed through a secure third‑party platform.

  • You may request access to or deletion of your information at any time.

This studio follows PIPEDA guidelines for Canadian privacy protection.

Refund Policy

Because electrolysis is a time‑based service:

  • No refunds are offered for services already performed.

  • No refunds are issued for late cancellations or no‑shows.

  • I do not offer prepaid packages at this time.

Thank you for understanding — this helps keep the studio fair and sustainable.

Right to Refuse Service

For safety and comfort, I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

  • A treatment is not safe or appropriate

  • A client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol

  • A client behaves in a disrespectful or inappropriate manner

  • A client does not follow studio policies

This ensures a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Inclusivity & Respect

This studio is a safe, welcoming space for all genders, identities, bodies, and backgrounds.

I maintain a zero‑tolerance policy for:

  • discrimination

  • harassment

  • abusive behavior

Everyone deserves to feel comfortable, respected, and cared for.

Agreement to Terms

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. Policies may be updated periodically to reflect best practices and studio needs.
